Urban Pop Ups began in 2020 with a simple idea: give Perth’s Muslim women a beautiful place to sell what they make, meet their community, and grow.
Six years later, our markets have hosted more than four hundred small businesses — home cooks and caterers, modest fashion and hijabs, cosmetics, crafts and more. Each pop-up is a day of shopping, learning and connecting, curated with care by a small ladies-led team of three.
And every market gives back: once costs are covered, proceeds are donated to causes through our charity, Urban Foundation.
The markets fund more than stalls. After each event’s costs are covered, proceeds flow into Urban Foundation and on to the causes and organisations that need them — charity stalls always join our markets free.
